Johnny Carson Passes Away
Long time "Tonight Show" host Johnny Carson passed away in his sleep at the age of 79. Carson hosted the "Tonight Show" for thirty years.
I vaugely remember watching him on TV. He struck me as a nice soft-spoken man.
On the other hand, when Joan Rivers was the guest host of the show, she was hillarious. With her designer gowns, her FULL face of makeup, and her raspy voice, she expertly made fun of herself (and others). And for those of you who though she was too nasty to the celebs whose outfits she didn't approve of on her "E" show, she was even more obnoxious (and funny) as guest-host of the "Tonight Show."
